Awesome sauerkraut nose, nice red fruits. Good acidity. I wasn't disappointed with the intial taste, but I wasn't blown away either. What was the most amazing was how good this wine was with our food (free range chicken, boudin blanc, rillettes and morel sauce). It was a massive transformation.
