Brewer Clifton Rio Vista Pinot Noir 2006
(10 months ago)This is an elegant wine! Amazing words escape me for this burgundian pinot that balances a 15.4% alcohol content! Color is see through and very light. with scent of poopy, barnyard esqe notes. A very light lavendar component is faintly there. The taste has a 3 min PLUS finish. With incredilble fruit and tobacco on the taste. This is a one to hold onto for 5 years as it will stand up to father time for a few more years.

(20 days ago)Nose - Cherries, sea surf, wet cardboard and alcohol. The front is a bit flat, with notes of green twigs and a bit dirty water. The mid palate is a little spicy and the tannins are nice. I also pick up a small amount of dark/bitter chocolate. The finish is very long and leathery. Nice Pinot but not great.
