Classic red color. The nose brings cherry twizzlers licorice. Underneath that there is a subtle vegatable hint and perhaps a bit of spice. The taste is OK. Initially, I picked up some harshness, but that went away on further tastes. It took a while to categorize the flavors but it comes down to a slightly sour red grape that you would get in the grocery store. There is also a bit of acid. Its nose is better than its taste. All in all, it is a very solid Dolcetto.
