Epicuro Salice Salentino Riserva 2004
(6 months ago)The nose is similar to the 2003: deep muddy red color, tannin, smoky wood, cherry & berry. More fruit in the taste, nice acidity, light tannic bite, lengthy finish. Maybe I've grown more accustomed to the style, but I like this one a lot better than last year's!

(4 months ago)really jammy- both cherry and plum flavors. A little smoke and a light tannic finish. It's great with food or on its own. My favorite cheap red at Trader Joe's. Try the Epicuro Aglianico right next to it next time

(3 months ago)I liked this wine very much. In fact I bought a few more bottles since it is such a great price for an everyday wine. Not too dry and not too acidic but fruitful. Nice mineral and leather tones.
