The nose is similar to the 2003: deep muddy red color, tannin, smoky wood, cherry & berry. More fruit in the taste, nice acidity, light tannic bite, lengthy finish. Maybe I've grown more accustomed to the style, but I like this one a lot better than last year's!

really jammy- both cherry and plum flavors. A little smoke and a light tannic finish. It's great with food or on its own. My favorite cheap red at Trader Joe's. Try the Epicuro Aglianico right next to it next time

I liked this wine very much. In fact I bought a few more bottles since it is such a great price for an everyday wine. Not too dry and not too acidic but fruitful. Nice mineral and leather tones.
