On the nose I get Big dried apricot along with some pepper and a hint of Bologna. Also get a lot of fennel. On the palate the apricot comes through along with some caramel. mild tannins. Nice long finish. I think this would pair well with herbed pork or Thanksgiving turkey. Overall lots of nice aromas.
