I personally don't like red wines, but I had to try this one because it is made by the same wonderful people that make my favorite white wine. Low and behold, it was amazing. I haven't had a red wine to equal it since, but then again, I really haven't been looking all that hard. Still I doubt I'll find one.

This wine has a complex flavor that's full bodied with a lingering aftertaste. This was a great wine that complements steak very well. Highly recommended if you enjoy dry wines.

Faint nose of earth and berries. Pleasant enough quaff of muted raspberry/blueberry and earth. Mild tannin. Not bad with food, but may have been open and warm too long.
