Very dense purple red, with very vegetable nose along with manure. Nice presence on the palate, very old world approach, good structure, presenting notes of pickle juice, sour cherries, leather on the mid-palate, and a fairly long finish that evoke green and black pepper, and spices. Good barbecue wine. Good character to argentinian malbec. Goes well with cheeses too. Makes an impression on the palate with firm tannins, a bit green and tart. Might tone down over time. Clear tobacco on the finish too.
