Harvest Date: October 28 Production: 6000 cases Alcohol: 12.5 % Château des Charmes ‘Silver Label’ Cabernet is an easy drinking, medium-bodied red table wine. It has a rich bouquet of black currant and leather and is very smooth on the palate with an earthy black currant flavour.

Deep garnet hue with a distinct, narrow rim. Aromatic nose of bell pepper, cherry, vanilla, graphite, dill and cassis. Dry on the palate with fresh acidity, supple but evident tannins and medium length finish. Flavours are quite rich and round, but leaning a bit toward the greener end of the spectrum. Very good value in Ontario Cabernet from a mediocre vintage for Bordeaux varieties. Admirable complexity and balance. Good everyday red.
