Surprisingly disjointed match between color and flavor. Very light, almost Rosé-lookin, though lots of dark fruit. A small and pleasant amount of tannins that hit more in the middle of your molars than the back of the jaw. Definitely let it breathe. The nose is sort of a mix of dark cherries and maraschino cherry juice. My wife thinks it has "new car smell."
