Very dark in color, in fragrance and in taste. Fruit is abundant, but so is an earthy quality. It's smokey on the nose and there's a hint of oak in the taste, along with a leather, or tobacco taste. Very nice wine, great with asiago cheese, good with manchego, fantastic with oak-smoked English cheddar.
