Herbaceous. It smells like a vegetable garden. Tastes heavily of rosemary and oregano. Smooth up front but dry on the finish. Very green.

Recent find at Trader Joe's. The nose has an intriguing mix of earth, fruit and herbs (rosemary? basil?). Good tannin & some fennel. The taste has some luscious blackberry and an herby finish. Different, and I really like it. Much more interesting than the typical $5 wine.

Very smooth and mellow. Not as dark and earthy as other Cab Francs I've tried (plus it's blended with Merlot and Syrah). The label is clever--perhaps a good choice while watching the election results this November? I know I'm on the edge of my seat!

Although not very fruit forward, it's super drinkable and has an interesting nose that perhaps someone can help us out with--we got cocoa! I'd have to agree with the earthy-herbal notes as well. Loved it!

This is a solid everyday table wine - in fact, I've introduced it to any number of people as such and they've all become converts. This wine is extremely approachable, and has some deep berry aromas as well as (as has been mentioned) some herbaceous notes. I also detected a quick whiff of cocoa on my final glass (after it had been open for about 2 hours). Great value for $5.
