Tasting Notes from Cork’d Members
"Jon" Mauricio Lorca 2006
(4 months ago)This was a very nice blend that highlights the strengths of Malbec and Petit Verdot. It was a dark, spicy, and strong wine with a good nose and wonderful flavors from start to finish. The black pepper was particularly noticeable. Compared to the strength of the wine, the tannins were a bit weak. This wine does not leave your mouth with that dry sensation that you would expect from such a strong red.
