Really pleasant, with a little residual sugar. Citrusy yummy fruit. Not terribly complex...but happiness can be simple...right? I will get some again.

Not as buttery as I typically like my Chards... but a decent wine, chilling made all the difference.

Even though the bottle looks like the WalMart happy face, I couldn't resist at least trying it. And Chardonnay is NOT my favorite varietal. This one is good, though, REALLY good. The nose is lively, rich and tangy-sour. Hints of pineapple and coconut. VERY enticing. The taste is similar, kind of sweet & sour, lots of fruit, plenty of acidity, spicy linger. REALLY nice. Some of it I drank with a spicy lime turkey dish, and the combination of the two tasted like Scotch! Not something you find everyday, and quite a treat. This is one of the best Chards I've ever tasted.
