Medium purple color, with an earthy nose that also features plenty of dark fruit. It's a fruit forward taste, too. It was a little hot upon opening, but after a half hour to breathe, much better. The third day it was open, it had smoothed out considerably. Good wine, didn't knock my socks off. At the price, it's a pretty desirable pinot. Not in the running with the upper echelon, but a decent drink that can stand up with food of all sorts.

Was brought by a guest to my Thanksgiving table. It is young and a bit astringent, but pleasant and with some pep -- good fruit, tannin and just the slightest hint of chocolate. Quaffable with the barbecued turkey.
