Pop-and-pour - Nose: raspberry, hint of pepper, strong gasoline smell. Heavy on the alchohol. Taste: A bit bitter on the approach and midpalate, nice raspberry-mocha on the finish. A big wine, fleshy, good backbone, somewhat dry. More like a cab than a merlot. Quite hot unfortunately, which really drags it down.
