Layer Cake Malbec
(3 months ago)Blackberry nose, tasted of sweet dark fruit, lush, yummy. A little cloying after awhile.
Layer Cake Malbec
(2 months ago)I enjoyed this malbec. (Even though I was scared of the screw-top. It came highly recommended.) Nice balance of Fruity (cherry, blackberry) with mild spice (peppery/almost licorice) and a light oaky finish. Nice feel on the palate with a smooth finish. It a rich, full bodied wine, and so tasted great with strong foods (I paired with aged cheese, chocolate and fruit).

(2 months ago)Fresh manure pile. Tones down after a couple hours of decanting (highly recommended). Blackberries, chocolate, that soil you buy from the Home Depot for your garden.
