Tasted this Rose at room temperature. Bouquet was very strong cherry and strawberry. The taste was also very strong cherry and strawberry. Tasted just like Minute Maid Berry Punch--no kidding. Very sweet. If trying to get someone interested in wine, this is an easy introduction.

I bought this to make a client happy. They're happy. I'm...kinda sitting with my upper lip scrunched up like I just drank a glass of cheap orange juice after brushing my teeth. Since I'm not a "Rose" person, it's probably unfair that I offer any opinion on this wine. Nevertheless, this wine is flat, sour and characterless at the same time. No bouquet. No complexity. No real flavor other than floral-hinted alcohol. If someone out there LOVES Rose wine, maybe they could clue me into the world of all-things-Rose. But for now, it's a blah buzz. As for food pairings, I'd try Sprite, maybe Mello Yello. And a Snickers bar. Suffice it to say, I won't buy any more Rose until I know what I'm doing...and I'm not holding out huge hopes.
