Very solid, offering a nose of brambly dark fruit, forest floor, and cassis. Medium to full bodied, the finish is clipped short by smooth tannins. Somewhat approachable now, this wine has the feel of one that will soon shut down, only to come back around in 2-3 years minimum. Should have 10+ years ahead of it. Great wine.
