Winemaker Notes: Intense plum and clove aromas are the friendly greeting from our Green Label Syrah-Shiraz. Made from grapes grown in Paso Robles and Monterey, this concentrated and complex wine has soft tannins, and blackberry and boysenberry flavors layered with notes of smoky bacon, sweet vanilla, and bittersweet chocolate.

Coppola 2006 Syrah-Shiraz
(about 1 month ago)This really is quite bad. It tastes Raw, if that makes any sense at all. All the right componants are there, but none of them seems to work together to make a well balanced wine. The '03 and '04 vintages were excellent. The '04 being one of my favorite syrahs. This one, the '06, is terrible.
