Leon Beyer Pinot Gris 2006
(2 months ago)Deep copper-gold. Aromatic nose of baked apricots, peaches, honey and caramel. Dry with low acidity, but enough to retain freshness. Well-balanced, full-bodied with an oily mouthfeel. Long finish. Excellent wine and a fine example of region and grape variety. A far cry from the ubiquitous insipid Pinot Grigio on the market.
