S: good bouquet. Berry (blackberry?) flavors with a fair amount of tannin. Medium-length aftertaste. Flavorful, but not "big". Good with food, but nothing dramatic. K: Best bouquet of the 4 wines we tasted together. Also the most flavor - berries to "grapey", but with food more like berries with some cherry flavors. We'd prefer a zin with some peppery notes, but this was still the best of 4 zins we tasted together, including wines by Elena, Ravenswood, and Rubicon Estate.
