Velvety and supple with fragrant notes of spices like white pepper and a hint of mint. It's thick and rich with ripe black cherries and distinct smokey, oakey earth aromas. Good legs on this wine and wonderful after a half hour after opening. I found it excellent with spicy vietnamese cuisines.
