Barolo Massolino 2004
(2 months ago)This is a very young Barolo. Dark sparkling lavender hue. Shows lots of cherries, violets, and blueberry at the nose, with a touch of orange together with the minerals on the surface of the damp soil. Wet cat is definitely present in here. The palate is very tight first, as if trying deliberately to conceal its richness, but in a while trails off to acquiring fit and style with prominent minerals. I suppose the real wealth of this wine will be shown in some years only. Promising potential.
