This is the smoothest red wine I've ever had at an unbelievable price. It's a real tribute to blends made well!

No distinctive flair here - just smooth and surprisingly decent, especially for the price.

Nice color, definitely syrah. Nose is working well, some raspberry/blackberry/black cherry, maybe some red and black licorice. Definite black cherry with hint of tobacco and the licorice again on the palate. This wine falls apart on the mid-palate, after a decent punch of acidity the tannins wander all over the place, not dry enough but not smooth enough either, not very well structured, a bit bitter towards the finish. A little heat coming through, not stellar with the integration of the alcohol. The saving grace to this wine is that it's not fake and sugarfied. The fruit is noticeable and clear cut. It definately is real wine, no fruit bombing, not flabby, not cheap Aussie style at least. I gotta say, I don't see where this wine gets great reviews. Maybe for the price it's alright, it's not horribly offensive, it's just nothing to write home about.
