Nose: Yummy California pinot nose. Ripe strawberries, some wood. Well balanced and good complexity. Red fruit, creamy, raspberry pastry finish. Unfortunate bitter tannins on the mid-palate and into the finish. The bitterness dissipated on the second day, when the wine was at its best. I'd be interested in trying this wine again, but I don't think I'd pay $43 for the privilege. I'd take the Brego at the same price.
