Purchased at Trader Joe's in Tempe AZ. 11% alcohol. It's produced by the Bronco Wines/Franzia conglomerate, but I'll try not to hold it against the wine.

Never before in my life have I tried Sangria. If this is a representative example, I like it. The nose has a hint of tannin and a LOT of spicy stuff. Primarily cloves and cinnamon. The taste is tangy and sweet, but acidic and not at all syrupy. There is a bitter bite late in the finish. Interesting, I'll probably get more to sample in different ways. NOT a purist's wine, but I'm no purist.
