The Other Red
(over 2 years ago)A smoky, spicy, supple and inviting red blend. Easily paired with a range of foods, standing up to steak dinners and fine chocolate desserts. The peppery Syrah flavors are balanced by the deep Cabernet and a touch a mollifying Merlot to make this formidable blend a fantastic bargain for the price.
The Other Red
(about 1 year ago)My bottle reads 70% Syrah 20% Petit Syrah, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Fruit, fruit, and more fruit. Blackberry, plum, rasberry with a nice dose of cedar, and some tannin as well. Not unlike a Cali zin, but slightly more tempered and without the heat. It might be a bit one dimensional, but it delivers well in that dimension.
The Other Red
(about 1 year ago)My bottle also reads 70% Syrah 20% Petit Syrah, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Its good. goes well with chocolate.
