Williams Selyem 2004 Westside Road Neighbors Pinot Noir
(about 1 year ago)Rich purple color, especially for a PN. Equally rich nose of dark berries, violets, earth and oak with significant alc carrying the scents. Taste is lighter and tarter than the nose would indicate with a long nutty finish with a citrus kick. A 94 point nose on an 89 point palate. Much better with air (6hrs). A good pinot but definitely not worth the $70! In blind tasting, this finished second to a $25 wine.
