"Bodega Poesia Torrontes is very distinctive, its aromas and flavors are unique. The nose is a tumutuous outpouring of tropical fruit, candied peaches, lychee nut, rose petals and other floral hints. Its flavors rush into the mouth with bright ripe fruits, with an extra zing of spice and acidity for good measure. Thanks to its refreshing acidity, Bodega Poesia Torrontes is a perfect foil to fish and poultry dishes, grilled or in sauce. Its tropical fruit flavors suggest a certain sweetness that also works well with spicy dishes. Alternatively, try our Torrontes as a delightful aperitif wine all by itself." - Winery

The sniffy sniff alone was worth the price of admission, as you say. But unfortunately drinking the wine was like taking a swig from a perfume bottle. Not my style

Very floral, almost overwhelmingly so. Great acid.

Fruity nose, aromatic, clear. Very clean, strong taste including a lot of acidity and power. Kind of a harder wine, reminded me of liquors. Tasted good for me, but I can see how it might not taste good for the masses.
