Dark and toasty. Rich cherry but high alcohol flavor. Very inexpensive and could be decent if paired with the right dish.

Uncorking, there was an alluring smell of brie and wood. There was a nice smoky flavor. However, the candied, alcoholic taste of the wine drove me away.
