Striking vanilla bouquet, pleasant, dry, fruity wine with oaky and spicy notes. Exceptional value. Frivolous in character - fresh and optimistic aftertaste (8 July 2007).

I tried this after the Goats Do Roam in Villages which I had heard was their better wine. The regular screw cap was much better than I expected. Spicy and fruity, goes great alone or with a meal. I'd definitely buy it again, and I still love the name.

Fruity nose with a bit of pepper, but a sharp undertone.
Taste is also fruity and a bit spicy, with an acidic side note.

"The Goat" has become a staple around our house since we discovered it about a year ago. It would be easy to lump it in with a lot of the other "marketing-ey" named wines, but it far surpasses those jammy concoctions.
