Prosecco di Valdobbiadene
(over 2 years ago)Light, crisp, low alcohol, some apricot notes. An inexpensive and fun alternative to champagne, which has become too stuffy in many circles. Break open a bottle of this, have a glass or two, and you're ready to move on to other things. Only 11% alcohol and very refreshing!
Prosecco di Valdobbiadene
(over 2 years ago)A nice, dry sparkling wine. Not too sweet and very drinkable. My wife and I received this bottle as a gift for our first anniversary, and it was a perfect accompaniment to the celebration. Be careful though. The corked popped as soon as I removed the protective covering. I almost lost an eye!
Prosecco di Valdobbiadene
(about 1 year ago)Most liquor stores in my area (Manhattan) carry this prosecco for around ten bucks a bottle, and at that price you can't go wrong. It's light, dry and crisp, has fruit notes without being overly sweet, and is just very pleasant to drink. Drop in a little Chambord and it makes a very nice Kir Imperial, too.
Prosecco di Valdobbiadene
(about 1 year ago)A great sparkling wine. It is crisp, dry, and light- not as heavy as traditional champagne. We served it with a light, summer vegetable pizza, and it was a great accompanying drink. Nice acidity. Peach, citrus notes.
