A rock solid choice. Great citrus notes and that Marlborough minerality I dig. While recently bashed by Michael Steinberger at Slate, it is still my go-to for sheer value in a white, period. It's much cheaper than $18 in NYC and in Vancouver, Canada. Also very consistent--I've drained enough bottles to know!

"Herbaceous" doesn't begin to describe it. Much more depth than most California Sauvignon Blancs. Definitely worth a try.

Overwhelming Tropical fruit aggressivness. very little depth. a little minerality on the finish though. Very little room for anything else to show through. Typical of the New Zeland in your face style. But hey, folks seem to love it. Drink it with what you would have grapefruit juice with. Maybe breakfast?
