Good but not great (and for $49.99 it should be great) got a 92 in Wine Spectator, but I think that was a review 4-5 years ago. In all honesty, a 10 year old wine is usually awesome or awfull. So to find a 'good' one is better than the vinegar mess this could have been. Very dry, heavy, but not too much. Went very well with the Loin Veal Chop in lemon and gralic off the BBQ. If you can find this winde for sub $30 (I brought from Wholefoods so you can probably get it cheaper) it would probably be a great example of an old vintage wine. These days too many people drink wines that are 2-3 years old and no older, everyone should try an old good to awesome French bordeaux every now and then just to remember where 'new' style wines originated from.
