Had this in a restaurant with pasta: - Respectable medium bodied Chianti - Cherry and spice tastes dominant - Finish a bit too acidic for my taste PS: Just read that you should let it age for 5 years or so. That might smooth this wine out at the edges.

Great wine with pasta. Medium body, slightly acidic, bouquet was light.

3 stars. Very bright. A lot of cherry and acidity. Way too young, but still a decent bottle. If you see it, buy it, but open it in a year or two.

nose: earthy, mushroomy, compost, sweaty tennis shoes, etc... Sour and intense on the palate. Appreciating chianti is hard without food, but this was a blind tasting. I thought it was OK.

A middle-weight wine, doesn't have that really big finish. We had it with pasta, but it was really better with some of the left-over parmesean cheese after.
