Love this! My first into the Bogle family in 2002-03. Color of dark purple love! I usually stamp the top of my hand with the cork right after I pull it. First smell is black cherry, pepper. Color is deep inky. Palate is firm tannic juice of fruit and spice. Lucious oakfruit finish. Yum! Almost as much as I like their Phantom offering!

We like this wine A LOT. It has a bright, fruity opening with a very smooth, almost chocolaty finish; one of our favorites for the $$. We most recently enjoyed this with a cheese pizza -- a match made in heaven!

Yeasty full scent when the bottle was opened. Very smooth finish. A "lighter" dry wine. We had this with pizza and it was excellent.
