Light strawberries in the aroma with a little bit of spiciness. Dry with a very full mouth feel. Good tastes of dark berries and peppers with the peppers dominating in the finish. Fairly average body.

A robust, grapye wine; I found the finish dry, with a whiff of lingering spice. Better-suited to somewhat heavier fare in my opinion, but a tasty wine for the price.

My subjective impressions are: Luden's cherry cough drops and the saliva-inducing sourness of dried tangerine peel (an Asian culinary oddity). Objectively though there are flavors of Macintosh apple, cherry, and underlying herbal notes.
