Monte Antico 2003 Rosso
(over 2 years ago)I love it! I don't really know how to comment on a wine, but I can drink this one all day!
Monte Antico 2003 Rosso
(over 2 years ago)This was a medium-bodied wine with a nice berry and herb nose, and the fruity body had some elegance and finesse (not overpowering),which makes it a nice match for many food dishes. It is very much and old-world wine with some pleasant yet subtle tannins, good fruit, and enough spicy/herb notes to make it interesting. I would probably give it 3.5 stars for value. at $8 a bottle it is a great every day wine. Wine Spectator gave it an 86.
Monte Antico 2003 Rosso

Monte Antico 2003 Rosso
(about 1 year ago)The kind of Italian red that you can buy a lot of and serve with pizza, pasta, whatever.
Monte Antico 2003 Rosso
(11 months ago)GOod color. NOSE: Good barnyard, with some red fruit. PALATE: Nice red fruit, sour cherry coming through all over the place. Good taste, with very smooth tannins.
Monte Antico 2003 Rosso
(11 months ago)Considering I got this one one special... two bottles for 14 ($13.99 +.05 per Mo'Bev deal) I love it. Not overly dry. Fruit comes out if decanted for a few hours at room temp. Very nice deal! My current favorite! Never would have looked at this one if it weren't for the value.
