A very full-bodied merlot. It had a fruity and toasty sweet oak nose. The tannins were nice and chewy; though they could still mellow a bit. The dark berry, fruit-forward taste lingers on for a good long finish. A very enjoyable bottle if you want a full-bodied merlot.
