Yamhill Valley Vineyards 2004 Estate Pinot Noir
(over 2 years ago)Don't let the screw cap trigger your snobbish side. This is a great wine with aromas of strawberry, blackberry, cherry, and possibly a touch of tobacco on the front. The taste is a combination of blackberry, cherry, and plum. This is a fruity pinot, but dry and mellow. This is the perfect wine to get if you need to match both meat and pasta. Having just tried this wine again (1/15/07) it has become smoother with hints of chocolate.
