(over 2 years ago)This is an excellent alternative to Rioja. It actually comes from the same Spanish region and will go with all your favorite Rioja pairings.

(over 2 years ago)Loved this wine. Sweet cherry and leather. Nice dark ruby color.

(over 2 years ago)My fiancee's new favorite wine. Very fruity with a smooth and long aftertaste.

(over 2 years ago)Menthol and road tar on the nose. Very tart cherry, briary almost like tree bark, which highlights an underlying tight tannin base. Bitter green edge on the mid palate. Lots of acid on the finish. This may soften a bit with cellaring.

(over 2 years ago)Nice fruit upfront with a nice finish for a wine priced under the double digit mark.

(over 2 years ago)Pretty good. Fun to drink, although would've liked a more complex taste. It's better after airing out a bit, and is fine to drink by itself.

(over 2 years ago)Fantastically oaky and fruit forward wine. Really a fun wine, and priced right to serve at a fun gathering.

(about 1 year ago)this is not a fruit forward wine which is a good thing in my book. Some cherry and berry aromas. Some minerals and sweet spice. This is yummy

(about 1 year ago)Another really good, drinkable red. I joke that I never met a temparnillo/grenache blend I didn't like, and this one holds the standard for me. Fruity, a little dry on the finish, lovely nose. Try it.
Red Guitar Navarra Old Vine
(about 1 year ago)Crisp and fruity, and very drinkable. Not very interesting, but would be great for an everyday wine. 3.5 stars - above average and for $8 from WineLibrary, quite a good value.
Red Guitar Navarra Old Vine
(about 1 year ago)Great smooth taste. This is a trusty, casual wine that I would buy again and again. Very good!
Red Guitar Navarra Old Vine
(about 1 year ago)Very enjoyable wine. Appealing ruby red colour with a spicy bouquet that has some fruity undertones. Medium bodied with surprisingly substantial tannins and a great long finish. Excellent!
Red Guitar Navarra Old Vine
(about 1 year ago)Very fun wine. Haven't had much better in the under $10 range.

(11 months ago)I love the fruit. Here's the deal though, I think this wine loses something when you decant it or let it sit in your glass for a while. A light, drinkable wine at a great price too!!

(9 months ago)Just a good red wine to complement the flavor of steak or barbecue. It's a little harsh on the tongue at first, but with subsequest sips it gets better and better...Spicy and aromatic.
