If you’ve only ever experience Australian Shiraz (Shiraz and Syrah are the same grape) it’s time to try something new. This is no New World fruit bomb. This is made in the style of a Rhone River Valley Syrah - more lean and muscular. Never flabby. Beyond the toasty nose, I get some serious blueberry and cassis in the flavor profile. Black cherry and plum as well. Add a long finish with a touch of spice and we’ve got a real winner! This one is so good, I blogged about it! http://drinksareonme.net/?p=133
