First Tempranillo I've had. This is an expansion of my wine vocabulary. I've been drinking the Frenchies for so long, I'd nearly forgotten about the rest of the world's vines. This Tempy hits like sweet potato pie. It's got vanilla, caramel, nutmeg, and that nice sweetpotato richeness. Really good with gnocchi in cream sauce!

the price is right under 20$ - tinto fino (sp?) is so underrated - it's got the cab richness but isn't as mouth puckeringly dry - lots of dark berry flavor
