I've now tried a handful of '07 CdP. So far, this one brings the most value for me. Bright fruit in your face. Really delicious smelling. The flavor brought lots of dark fruit and a good tannic grip, but not overwhelming. In fact it's amazing how approachable this is from a young age. In a world where so many 2007 Rhone wines have gone through the roof in price, this can still be had for a moderate price tag

Had a half bottle of this at Eleven Madison Park for my birthday. Since it's kind of young, I asked the sommelier to decant it...man is this a complex wine. Love the dark berry and spice notes. Totally cellar this...
