Ruby turning bright red at the edges. A tight nose showing a bit of baking spice, like cinnamon or clove, but not much else. On the palate, this wine is the real deal. Medium-bodied with raspberry, smoke, and chocolate along with bright acidity that focuses all the flavors. I actually like the finish more than the mid-palate. It finishes with an intense chocolate-covered-cotton-candy thing going on. The nose holds this back from scoring higher for me. (Zinfandel/1)

The nose didn't give up anything for the whole time (1 hour decanted) that we drank it. The palette was also subdued started to show some nice dark fruit and spice towards the end but the mid palette was lacking and the mouth feel just wasn't there. I'm hoping it was possibly to cool since I have a few more bottles in the cellar. We had company and it probably didn't have enough time to open up.It was somehow still very good with that said.

Color: Dark purple. Nose: a little restrained, some floral notes, some forest floor mustiness, and red fruit at the end. Taste: Rhubarb juice! Then some strawberries, then black plums. Nicely integrated, decent finish. This could easily last 3 - 5 years more.

This isn't a super-challenging wine, but I'd say it's very very good. Delicious Zinfandel black fruit and blueberry flavors. Doesn't get raisin-y or over-ripe. Very clear visually- medium bodied, and a pleasure on the palate. Just a touch of grip on the back-end. Roundly enjoyed by everyone who tasted it.

The wine was rich, luscious, and leathery, with black berry fruit and cassis on the nose. The mouth was bursting with blackberries, plum, and black cherry, with nice spice, pepper, coffee, a touch of licorice and balanced tannins.

Ruby purple color

A 14.5% alcohol, you'd never know it. Nose comprised of minerals, raspberries and strawberries with a hint of oak.

Fresh fruit and minerality. Great acidity.
