I don't typically care for merlot as I associate it mentally with light and unfulfilling wines. This, however, is a decent merlot. The wine lacks a strong personality but the flavor and texture was pure and smooth, probably lending to the organically grown grapes used to make it.

This is an organic wine with flavors of cola, vanilla, and black cherry. Toasty oak comes through on the mid palate with some earth tones, spice and black pepper. Feels like a lot of undefined fruit (sugar) coming through and falling decidedly on the sweet side. Low acid with soft tannin, and hints of chocolate coming through on the finish.
