What a beautifully designed wine! There's a distinct note of cherry here (sour and otherwise) layered over soft berries and a thrilling stripe of ground white pepper that just keeps going. Nicely structured, with upright but reserved tannins. Exellent with sauteed spinach, pasta with red sauce, Zamorano sheep's milk cheese and on its own -- a very versatile partner for the palate.
